Synchronized drummers shook the stage Thursday night at the Blue room as The Velveteers brought the Colorado rock sound to downtown Nashville.

The crowd was pleased early on, with instant head-banging to the beat and clapping when it felt right. The Velveteers played a mixture of old and new hits from their released albums. Starting with “Motel #27.”

The quick set got the crowd riled up for Slothrust to play to their dedicated fans for the rest of the evening. The two-drum-kit setup made it a quick attention-grabber for the crowd.

The band interacted with the crowd throughout the set while delivering loud rock energy to the small blue room.

The drummer on the left, Baby Pottersmith, took to the crowd mid-set, bringing a drum for some crowd participation.  Not long later, the singer, Demi Demitro, jumped down into the crowd to sing and jump around with a new collection of fans.

The Velveteers continue to tour through November this year, joining Rival Sons out on the road. For more information, head to their website or follow their Instagram.
