Pertinence lit up the House of Blues stage during his Dallas stop on The Untimely Timing of Divine Timing Tour! He is showcasing his debut album of the same name across 28 cities, accompanied by a variety of amazing opening acts.
As the audience entered the venue, they were greeted by a surprising yet familiar face: a giant puppet version of Perty, complete with matching tattoos and piercings, that sat at the edge of the stage ready to rock out with everyone.
Auxblood opened the show, getting the crowd pumped for the rest of the night. The Baton Rouge band, formed by guitarist Jack Xavier and vocalist Elli 500, offers a unique blend of pop, jazz, gospel, folk, and rock, creating an unforgettable musical experience. Following them was Miles "Slim" Armstrong, a longtime friend and the official DJ of the tour. Slim kept the party alive, encouraging the audience to sing along to classic R&B and pop hits.
Pertinence leaped onto the stage to start his set, and the crowd roared at his entrance. His high-energy setlist had the entire audience singing and dancing along to every word. While he primarily performed songs from his new album, the crowd was also excited to hear some of his earlier hits, including "UPS/DOWNS" and "DROP TOP BEATER." Perty has a unique ability to make everyone at his show feel like old friends, which was quickly demonstrated by the conga line that formed among half the crowd by the second song.
