Brooklyn-based band Dune Blue played Royal American’s tiny stage to a packed bar in Charleston, SC, on Saturday, August 15th. As the second band on the lineup between Celler Dwellers and Nick Matthews, Dune Blue kept the energy alive in the room.

Labeling themselves as an indie surf band, the four-piece played a stacked set with punk and psych rock influences that kept the crowd buzzing. As each song’s electric frequency built off the last, the crowd surged further forward; dancing and cheering.
Dune Blue played their final notes and chants of “One more song!” rang out as momentum built throughout the bar. Obliging to the hungry crowd, the band played one final song to close out their set under Royal American’s disco ball-clad roof.
Listen to Dune Blue’s “Always Sunny”, released August 7th on all platforms.
