Billy White brought a packed crowd to Opening Bell Coffee. After completely selling out his last performance just a month prior, he performed his newest project, “It Almost Went Different”, with his band for another fantastic night of music, community, and connection.

Kingland, the talented duo of Justin King and William Land, opened up the show, setting a great vibe for the night. Their mashup of ‘I Wish’ (Carl Thomas) and ‘Mutt’ (Leon Thomas) especially energized the crowd. Following them, the lovely Kiah Shannon took to the stage, quickly engaging the audience, particularly with her original song “Birthday,” which was an instant favorite.

By the time Billy White made his entrance, the room was buzzing with excitement. The energy of Billy, his band, the audience, and even the employees of Opening Bell was electric. His performances are often described as intimate and vibrant community experiences, rather than typical rap shows, and this event was no exception. The audience was so engaged, taking in the whole experience of the album, listening to (and even yelling back) every lyric. After the show, audience members shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, praising the performance.

Billy's next concert is scheduled for September 24th in Houston, and it promises to be another memorable night that we look forward to experiencing.
